Random post is random.

Just another one of those ‘random dot points of insanity’ posts.

·         Sing with me! It’s time for tamago-tamago-tamagotchiiiiii! -_- My sister’s annoying little thing just beeped. Seriously, I haven’t used tamagotchis fo’ years. If that things beeps one more time, I will smash it. Deadly. Serious.

·         The moment of facepalming when downloading Arakawa Under the Bridge becomes more important than doing your eight very important assignments

·         MY DOWNLOAD JUST CRASHED. SGDHJHGADIUHDSD. THE WORLD HATES MEEEEE.

·         Maybe it’s a sign. Devine intervention. And God didst say “Thou shalt not download weird anime. Thou shalt do thy assignments so that thou doest not fail school.” Because, you know, when the original commandments were made, people were communicated to in old-English. It was meant to be in Ancient Hebrew, guys.

·         Ahhhh! I’m going to fail the Maths and English assessments if I don’t start doing something. Y I STILL DO NOTHING BUT STEAL INUYASHA GIFS OFF TUMBLR?

·         Oooh. My hair smells like flowers ^^ This is amazing.

·         Iced tea cures everything, I swear that I am ready to work after drinking that sweet-but-not-too-sweet juice of life. Srsly, combining tea and fruit. Best. Idea. Ever.

·         FFFFFFFUUUUUUU! THE TAMAGOTCHI BEEPED AGAINNNN.

·         In almost three hours, I have written ten words. My parents will get home soon, and ask me what I have done. Sweet f-a.

·         I found my sister’s Tamagotchi and made it happy. Soh rewarding.

·         RELATIONS.

·         Ah, I’m remembering all my year eight mini-songs. Such as “Everything about you is so festy,” “Mrs Patin is a waste of space and time (even though it doesn’t rhyme),” “I like apricot mush and bananas,” and “The Mr Shou comes to you song.” Good times. I still like the “Exteng, what the hell” song the best.

·         GUYSGUYSGUYS. There is a live-action series of Arakawa Under the Bridge. Life. Complete. Must. See.

·         Speaking of Arakawa, I must bring it on schoolies, so that I can eff everyone’s minds. That show makes Princess Tutu seem like it has a normal premise, which is... whoa.

·         My family are home. Apparently, after all I did, my sister’s Tamagotchi was still unhappy.

·         Ah, the reminds me of when I had a Pixel Chick. That bitch was so needy, I ended up blu-tacking up the speaker holes and shoving her in a draw until she ‘got fed up with me and left home’. Who knew you could have catfights with a dumb virtual chick?

·         I was scrolling up this page, and I thought I saw “DAMN IN LUST.” That doesn’t even make sense. What the fudgetasticaketins.

·         The “Y U NO Guy.” His face... reminds me of my Maths A teacher from last year. The one who wrote ‘I quit’ on a post-it and walked out. Ahh, Plonker. When I saw him, I thought he would laugh like “Huhuhuhu” and I used to impersonate that. Sadly, it was much more pedo

·         All the single musos, all the single musos. Single women’s business, single women’s business.

·         I just rubbed my eyes after squeezing an orange. WHY AM I THAT DUMB? #pain

·         Sooo, almost four hours and nothing new accomplished. And I have an English exam tomorrow. I shall die.

·         How now brown cow?

·         STEGASAURUS!

·         You know, Jimmy cracked corn. And I don’t care.

·         I JUST KILLED FOUR HOURS OF MY LIFE DOING NOTHING IMPORTANT. Bakabakabakabaka.

·          Okay, I really will go now. Maybe later I'll post my random 'letter to self' thing that I created a few days ago before everone else posted theirs. Actually, that was a little too light-hearted. I'll probably try to tell it like it is a little more, and re-do it. Once I finish my school stuff. If I ever finish my school stuff. Ah, goodbye ninja chumps!

Perhaps you can afford more, with the Vicomte de Changney as your patron

Hello, cherub children. The topic of today's post is the word 'more'. Say it with me, M-O-R-E. No, Excalibur, 'MOAR' is not a word. And before you ask, we are not talking about moors, as in people of mixed Arab and Berber descent, or moor as in the anchoring of a ship. Excalibur keeps exclaiming 'MOOOAAAAR!' at me, so I looked it up on dictionary.reference.com. Apparently, these are the related searches.

Yeah, I totally see how Raptor Jesus and 4chan relate to today's topic. Apparently, dictionary.com thinks that my ninja is not an idiot though, because...

my ninja is an idiot

No results found for my ninja is an idiot:
Did you mean nonaccented?
Oh, how silly of me, of course I meant 'nonaccented'. It's okay Xcali, I don't really think you're an idiot. Even though you can't spell for your life. Blame Lolcats! Bwaha. Oh right, reality. Back to my prompt of 'more'. I really was going to blog without purpose, but those style of posts always seem to be so much lamer, don't you think? Oh drat, I was just about to get to the point of this post, Excalibur wars and stuff. I think he's still annoyed that I put my red sock in his whites-wash. Maybe it's the idiot comment. Or maybe it's because I don't come around here often enough any more. It's a relationship breakdown, people!

I STILL LOVE YOU, EXCALIBUR! <3

Et hem. The girl talking to the blog ninja maintains her dignity. Ohoh, I think I may have already posted this, but methinks can post on blogs with an open ID now, so yayteimz being able to comment again! Now that I've gotten some of the randomness out of the way, let the Order of the Phoenix odered post begin!

More Stress

I thought I'd get the boring one out of the way first. I can now count the days until QCS on my fingers and toes, which is very scary. I think I'm more scared of the fact that everyone in my grade is all chilled and like "Biggest test of my schooling life coming up? Cool story bro..." We were practicing for it today, and most of the class just copied the answers from the book, instead of actually working, and using those to check their answers. These are the people who can bring my OP down by up to 3 places. I'd insert a hearty FML here, but I'm not exactly that much more motivated than they are. Not to be cocky, but I am generally more intelligent. Ah, the moment when you walking into a room and note to yourself that your intellectual capacity is higher than all of the 20 odd others combined. I kid, I kid, I'm not that much of a brainiac, and most people I know are quite intelligent. There are just a lot of lazies in my grade.

More Formal Highs and Woes

I'm a queen with a paper cutter. Last night, I cut all of the remaining 100-and-something invites for the formal. They still need to be glued together, and have bows pinned on them, but it was still a relieving thing to have done. I'd say around a third of all the invites have been completed now, and they're looking pretty snazzy, if I do say so myself. It's been a bit of a shizball having to give up my afternoon to make formal invites, but I don't regret it. This is lucky, because I'll probably have to spend countless more completing them. I finally got my dress after five months of waiting. I must say, it does look pretty stunning on me, even if it is the wrong colour, and not what I would have expected to wear to the formal. No doubt, I'll end up dropping food on it anyway. Speaking of, which, I was looking at the menu today with nath_alex01, and man, we didn't even know what have of the stuff on there was. Apparently even Google was confused as to what bocconcini was, and spell-check didn't even recognise it as a word, so we should be excused for that one. It's a cheese made from the milk of water buffalo, according to sauces sources. To me, it sounds so delightfully strange, I'd love to have it at the formal, if only for the novelty factor. I didn't really like much of what was on the menu, so I'll probably be sipping their complimentary expresso and claiming to be 'on a diet' all night. It's of no consequence, though, because it's going to be an amazing night no matter what. I've worked too hard for it to not!

POTTERMORE

If you've had your head in the sand and totally missed the whole Pottermore thing, then... where have you been? Actually, I keep on stumbling across the big events for it by accident. I waited to watch the release video for it because someone posted the link on Facebook 15mins before it was put to air. I came across the Early Access week thing because one of my groups on Facebook also just happened to be talking about it. And I happened to be there at just the right time when it was open to the first million people of the public. And I accidentally made two accounts on two different email addresses, because I didn't think one had worked. And they both got chosen for early access, so I'm pretty pumped. Now, just to wait a few darn months until they send me my Welcome email and let me use the site. Apparently they're staggering their early access. My guess is because people would go nuts and the site would crash if they didn't. It's not even open yet and it's already crashed multiple times from excessive demand. To be honest, I'm not even sure what it is. From their blog, I get the impression that it's a site where you play through the Harry Potter book series in a game-multiple-path-virtual-book-thing. They say it's not for social networking, but it's not strictly a game either. Whatever it is, I've been pretty lucky with it so far, so I'm going to keep checking for more progress!

More Out of Life

As of today, I have only 60 days left of school! I really am feeling excessively positive at the moment. Last weekend, I went to that large-and-scary-university open day, and I found that I really liked it there. I ended up filling in my QTAC preferences that day, and they're as follows.

1. Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management
2. Bachelor of International Studies
3. Bachelor of International Studies (the UNE one. Sigh.)
4. Bachelor of Event and Convention Management
5. Bachelor of Arts
6. Bachelor of Business (International Hotel and Tourism Management)

It was very relieving to know that I've actually made some choices as to where I'm aiming to go next year, as opposed to whinging and blindly searching. Even if I have the worst of the school year still to go, I can see the end is in sight, so I'm learning to be more positive and less complaintative about school. LOLjks, I haven't stopped complaining, but I am appreciating my time there more. I've been doing more lately, and although it has been harder in a lot of ways, it has also been much more rewarding.

More Sickness

Okay, so this just had to get a section of it's own. Last week was sickness crazy, and I ended up taking a whole three days off school. I don't think I've taken that many consecutive days off in years, if ever. And yesterday was just... yeah. I had me some bad cramps. So much so that I nearly threw up. I staggered up to my school bathrooms, only to find that they were closed. So I lent on the bubblers for a few minutes and let water splash on my face. I tried to make it down the hill to get to the sickbay at the office, but I nearly collapsed, so I had to rest against a tree. Seriously, I must have looked like I was either drunk or dying. By the time I did make it to sickbay, I was green in the face, and grey around the eyes. I lay down, pulled up a blanket and a pillow, made myself a heat pack (tsk. The office ladies forgot about me) and passed out from the pain. I woke up three hours later with the office lady telling me that she'd called my mother. Luckily, when I woke up the pain was gone. Apparently my friends were looking for me, because they thought I may have passed out somewhere else, or been kidnapped. Bless.

More InuYasha ^^

So, I'm kinda proud of myself for making it up to episode 92 of InuYasha. This means I have... 75 episodes to go! Plus The Final Act, of course. I still plan to finish this anime before I finish school. It's pretty unlikely, seeing as it has taken me a good 10 months just to watch the first 92 episodes, but I may as well try. I started reading the manga the other day too. Gotta love downloading 15 volumes of manga when you should be working on a Music Extension thesis. I ended up getting my thesis done anyway, so I can justify the downloading to myself. Honestly, it's going to take a long time to read, but I'm really enjoying it. I should get back into shorter animes again, but eh, I'm loving InuYasha too much at the moment. I'm totally proud of myself for having some rather interesting not-totally-cannon ships in this show too. My order of favourite ships has turned upside-down from what it originally was. It is currently (exclusing my many one-sided ships):

1. NarakuxKikyou (biggest guilty pleasure ship ever. Oh dear.)
2. SesshomaruxKagura
3. MirokuxSango
4. InuYashaxKagome

Because you all care so much about my shipping preferences. I was watching episode 2 of The Final Act, and I could not get over show shiptastic Kagura's death was. You really shouldn't be squeeing at someone's death, but seriously, she died happy because she got to see Sesshy one last time. Before that scene, I thought any shippy-ness between them was all in my head. It was awesome to have some real hintage.

That's all there is; there isn't any more

I've run out of things to ramble about, kiddiewinkles. This is your friendly neighbourhood demsemiquavergirl and her moody ninja, signing out. Until next time, amigos! @>`-,--

Trivia: The title of this post comes from Act 1, Scene 2 of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. It was the first thing that came to mind when I was trying to think of a quote that involved the word 'more'. Yes, I shall be a Phantom Phan for life.

Also, Blogger keeps effing up my formatting. If this post seems really, really ill formatted, I apologise. I'm doing my best to fix it.
Update: Fixed!

Random Post Thang: Unfinished Anime

Well, I was thinking of starting this blog post off with "POLTERGEIST MONKIES SINGING "SEX ON FIRE" AND EATING TRUFFLES DIPPED IN CHEESE FONDUE AND DANCING THE FANDANGO!" but that would be a little disrespectful to anime, seeing as it's what I'm actually blogging about. Eh, it looks like I've gone and done that anyway. Back on track. I started watching a new anime yesterday. It's called Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, which roughly translates to "We still don't know the name of the flower we saw that day." It is a ridiculously long name to write, so I'm going to call it AnoHana from now on. AnoHana tells the tale of a group of childhood friends, who spend their days having innocent fun together. This all changes when Menma, the sweet, innocent girl of the group, suddenly dies. Years later, her spirit appears to Jintan, a boy who was one of her closest friends, and told her that she was ugly, just before her death, to avoid having to confess his feelings for her. Menma claims that he must grant her dying wish, and that this can only happen if her reuintes their old group of friends. Did I mention that Jintan is the only one who can see Menma's ghost? Oh, and everyone's like, really messed up. And one of the main dudes, known as Yukiatsu, is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, whose voice I'm in love with. The animation is really good, and I'm enjoying the show a lot so far. Plus, it's the first ongoing/current anime I've ever watched. Whoot.

Aaaaand, thanks to [Gojo], I've started re-watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When the Evening Cicadas Cry). Yeah, it is a complete contrast to the other anime. I don't even know how to describe it. Mystery, multiple-universes, conspiracy, murder, cute little girls, maniacal laughter, shrine gods, small town with dark secrets and RENA WITH HER HATCHET, LAUGHING LIKE A MANIAC.

Yeeeah, don't be like me. Don't watch this show late at night. In the dark. With no-one around. When things in your room keep moving for no reason.

It's a really good show, though. You should watch it. It's violent, but hey, if I can deal with it, then I'm sure everyone else can. Anyway, I noticed yesterday that I really suck at finishing anime. I've started a fair few, but only finished... Erm, not that many. So, out of boredom any random-ness, I'm going to make a list of all the animes I've watched. I'm very forgetful, so, this probably isn't all of them. Let's just see how I go with the list, mkayyeah?

Anime I have completed:

-Death Note (Episode 37)
-Angel Beats! (Episode 13)
-Clannad (Episode 24)
-Clannad~ After Story (Episode 24)
-Princess Tutu (Episode 26)
-Pretear (Episode 13)

Anime I have started watching/am watching:

- Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (Episode 2)
- Arakawa Under the Bridge (Episode 5)
- Kanon 2006 (Episode 7)
- Fruits Basket (Episode 3 + random bits and episodes from [ClearlyUnfocused])
- Special A (Episode 2)
- Rurouni Kenshin (Episode 17)
- InuYasha (Episode 75)
- InuYasha: The Final Act (Episode 2)
- Full Metal Panic! (Episode 2)
- Baccano! (Episode 3)
- Honey and Clover (Episode 2)
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Episode 7)
- Toradora! (Episode 1)
- Hetalia - Axis Powers (Episode 3)
- Rumbling Hearts (Episode 3)
- The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi (Episode 1)

Evidently, I am much, much, much better at starting anime than finishing them. I have many valid reasons for not finishing a lot of them. InuYasha and Rurouni Kenshin are both really long (168 and 94 episodes, respectively), things like Baccano! and FMP! don't have enough shipping for my current liking, and Rumbling Hearts had sex secenes, so yeah, I kinda gave up on it.

I must be like, an anime hoe. I can't commit to only one! It just proves, I reeeally have to love an anime to finish it. Or, it has to be short. I've never re-watched an entire anime series. I'm two episodes away from re-finishing Princess Tutu, which will make it my first re-watched anime series when I get there. It also has the record for my most watched episode (I have watched episode 1 five times through, even though I consider it nowhere near as good as the later episodes). And it holds the record for my most watched scene (FakirxAhiru blush-tastic moment in Episode 12. I have watched it way more times than I can count, and laughed/squee'd very hard each time). Although, if Total Drama World Tour were counted, it would have stolen both those titles. I have watched the whole season more times than I can count on my fingers, and rewatched individual episodes even more. Pssft. No obsession.

In conclusion, I need to finish me some animez! I don't know which ones on the list I will actually finish, because my moods and animes likings change quite a lot. After watching 3 episodes of Princess Tutu, I can honestly say that I thought I would never return to it, or finish it. But, we all know how that turned out. Thank goodness for reading TVtropes pages! Right now, I'm on track to finish the two series I'm watching at the moment. And I really want to watch Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I think that I will finish Baccano! one day, when I'm not so shipping-obsessed. If that day ever comes. Though it'll probably take me like, a lifetime, I think my chances of eventually finishing InuYasha are moderately high. And I know I'll watch some more Rurouni Kenshin and Arakawa Under the Bridge someday. The rest of them, we'll just have to wait and see. Goodnight bloggers!

... OH! If you were wondering where Excalibur was. He fell asleep after the first paragraph. Turns out, he isn't that interested in me making anime lists. Oh wells!

It's tooooo hard! ehehe. That's what she said.

erygsdkjad<dkghj. Zomg, that was a keyboard smash of awesome. You know, I'm feeling really quite good right now. Dear goodness, if only I could have emotional babble kind of rants to all my teachers, then I think I would be on the track to being alright. To put some context to this, today I told my instrumental teacher about all the problems and self issues I was having with the subject. I believe she thought I was slightly (no, very) insane, and over-reacting like crazy, but it was so good to actually get all my frustration and built up problems off my chest. For the first time this year, I was subsequently able to have a lesson where I felt happy, and laughed, and remembered just why the subject used to be a solid favourite of mine. Ah, it feels so amazing to actually resolve a problem, instead of gaining another one. I don't really have much else to report, so how about another round of random thoughts. They were very random last time, yeah? Well, let's see what's going through my mind today...

David Harris is looking at me. Jack Sparrow is looking at me. MASKS ARE LOOKING AT ME, AND THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE EYES 0_0 Why hello there, Phantom mask. Aw. It's dusty... like yo mama?

Save the drama for yo mama. Whaaaaaaat. It's on my wall. Hall. Fall. Tall. Mall. Paul. Saul. Maul. Darth Maul? STAR WARS!

Eh. I should be doing my music assignments. ehehe. Music performing assignment today. LOLfail, am I right, guys? At least not everyone thought it was bad. It would have helped if I could breathe properly.

Ehehehe. Reminds me of the time today, when I had to get a drink because my throat was so clogged that I couldn't breathe. After getting a drink, I was skipping down the path, thinking about the wonders of a working respiritory system... And my princial saw me. He's cool though. He didn't wink at me, for once D: It was most disappointing.

Wait, ASSIGNMENTING. Buuuut, I have no homework. I really need some de-stress time, and I actually feel like I can have it at the moment. As opposed to setting time to do nothing, and flipping out anyway. Mortified... wait, I mean, testified? Justified? Ehh. RELATIONS!

I wonder if they're funny looking. Zomg. Anyone else remember Plasmo? No? Sometimes I think my childhood was in a parallel universe. Just sayin'.

"Soooo far, weee are, soooo clooooose" erm, sorry, just karaoke-ing here. Don't mind me. What? It's a good song, am I right [ClearlyUnfocused]?

I have a canvas picture of a budgie in a top hat on my wall :3 Ohai there, Mr Budgie. He's classy. I'd name him Edward, but the twi-hards would relate it to that wannaba biatch Cullen.  YOU WISH YOU WERE AS PALE AS ME, HO! /clears throat/ I maintain my dignity.

Bomdiggitydooooo!

My eye is itchy. Not in the my eye is itchy way. Not that that makes any sense. But I like my eyes! *_* As do I? Especially when they're shooting daggers? Yes, like that? *fans self* Must. Restrain.

Cool, sweet! Mm. I do like Filipino toothpaste. Yepyep.

I'd just like to announce, for all of you that don't know, [MissInvisible] and I are celebrating our one year wedding anniversary on September 16th. I'm telling you all this in advance, because we are anticipating amazing presents from you all. No, that was not a question. You will get us all good gifts, even if [Gojo] and [ClearlyUnfocused] have been married for... lifetimes longer. You see that, [TentuoTuo], I'm going to get to 1 year with my lovely wife. Our marriage was too plagued by communism, death, and lack of knowledge regarding when we were and weren't actually married. /pokes tongue/ I kid, I kid. You were a good... wife. ;P

I have some song some strings students played in music today stuck in my head. Damn their virtuosity.

"That's the difference between [my sister] and I. She fails at Naplan, I fail at life." Quote of the day. Arpeggijo? ArpeggiO? O Arpeggio? Music tour? <3 That one night on band camp.

So, IBS! :D There are four types, right? ...and of course, stuffed toy boobs.

I shoooould be working on something. Or, you know, not. Mwahahaha. I'M GOING TO EAT YOUR SOUL! Oh no, my status as a demon has been revealed. Runnnnnnnn!

I'm a full-fledged demon? EAT THAT, INUYASHA! >:D Ooh, InuYasha. Now that all my "oh-so-amazing" quality episodes of InuYasha:The Final Act have finished downloading, I should watch them. I did vow that I would watch InuYasha first, but I still have over 80 episodes left (I've watched 75/160 something. Yeah, bros) and I am impatient. I really wish the had a dub though, because, Richard Cox FTW! That is his name, right?

Because everything's prettier with pictures. InuYasha and Kagome chillin' in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. The shippers wish. It only takes them close to 200 episodes to kiss (excluding the [second?] movie), even though you can see that they're going to be a thing from, you know, the first episode.

It is a prettyful picture :) Gotta love InuYasha's ears. "Oh wow, like, dog ears. I think I wanna... Touch em!" Yes Kagome, whenever I see a presumably dead male half-demon, pinned to a tree by a magical arrow, after I've been sent back in time, because I fell into a magical well, the first thing I think about is grabbin' me some ears.

So, I wanna haz watch that show now, so I shall. Farewell, blog readers! May your days be merry and bright, and may all your Christmases be white. ACKNOWLEDGED.

Dear Japan, I love you... and Blogger.

It's really quite sad. Now that I've started blogging, I can't stop. Every single thought I have, now has a follw-up thought of "I wonder if I should talk about this in my blog. Maybe I should go and blog, like right now. Maybe I shouldn't do that Maths revision, because, you know, I could be blogging."
I must say, I very easily get obsessed with things. I remember when I first saw The Phantom of the Opera on stage. Dear Lord, for about six months, literally everything I talked about had something to do with Phantom. Even things such as homework, for example: "Hey [anonymous], did you do the English homework. It sucked. Just like the garish light of day does. ZOMG PHANTOM REFERENCE!"
I'll write more about my phangirl-ness another time, because that wasn't what I gave up valuable sleeping time on a Sunday night to talk about.
This post is dedicated to the poor, unfortunate country of Japan.
Japan has been good to me. Really, really good to me. It has been responsible for the inventions of many of my favourite things, most notably, ANIME. Now, anime is not something that I ever thought I would get into, but after a good friend [shoutout to GoJo C! Even though she'll probably never read this] persuaded me to watch Death Note last year, I became completely hooked. Since that time, I've dedicated hours and hours of my valuable time to watching animes episodes. Ah, I look back with fond memories on the days when I would spend 5 hours in a day watching InuYasha. What? It was just that good. Sadly, I gave up and moved on after episode 74, but it's such a good show (albeit filled with, well, filler), I'm sure I shall return and finish it someday. Hopefully, in the not too distant future.
Yet again, I have steered off topic. No wonder it takes me a good five hours just to write a 1000 word English assignment.
Back on track! Unless you have been living under a rock (or in a labyrinth. See? I still have complusions to reference Phantom all the time) for the past few days, you would know that Japan has been hit crazily hard by natural disasters. Now, I thought the flooding and bushfires that Australia had been experiencing just a few months ago were bad. Then, I saw the earthquakes that had occured in Christchurch, and I was shocked again. Well, it seems like Japan has upstaged both Australia and New Zealand. Someone posted "Damn over-achieving Asians, had to upstage us" on Facebook. The cultural stereotype, applied for comedic effect in such a devestating context made me chuckle.
Seriously though, poor Japan! I've never really known anyone who lived there. Sure, I once had a Japanese exchange student buddy at school for a week a few days ago [oh dear anonymousperson, I hope you are okay], which, might I add, was an awesome experience, but it's not like I am in direct contact with anyone living there. Despite this, I'm feeling especially moved by it all. Maybe it's just the comprehension of so great a loss. Maybe it's the fact that I often have an unhealthy amount of empathy. Maybe it's just because I like Japan. Maybe it's a combination of all these things. All I know is, if you're able to remain unmoved by events such as this, just because you're not personally affected, you must be pretty heartless.
On top of the pain I feel for the Japanese people, is a feeling of worry for my own country. So, nuclear powerplants + earthquakes = disaster. C'mon people, the Earthquake ruined the cooler in a nuclear powerplant, and now it looks as though there's going to be a meltdown. People have already been diagnosed with radiation poisoning, and if there is a full-blown meltdown, the consequences could be endless. Think back to Chernobyl. When things went bad there, things went really, really bad. The winds blew over a large area of Europe and America, making it pretty much a global nuclear disaster, which the full impact of is still unknown.
Yeah, see, this is why I'm against people buiding Nuclear Powerstations in my country. To my knowledge, there's only one, and I hope it stays that was. Messing with radiation is never, ever good. As an example of how much I believe that, I will tell you that I never talk on my mobile phone for more than five minutes and I will not even stand within 5m of the microwave when it is on. Ever. I'm a smart cookie. I've studied Nuclear Physics, and, in turn, what can happen when things get out of control. It's not good, seriously.
Et hem. Moving away from my anti-nuclear rant. The people of Japan need everyone's support. As an unemployed, senior highschool student, there's not too much I can do in terms of monetary assistance, but what I can do it pray. So, pray I shall. I'm not really sure of the results of prayer (I often ask for selfish or undoable things, so it's not supprising that God ignores me. Though, there have been occasions when I've felt my prayers answered in the most unusual and amazing ways), but surely sending your thoughts to a people in need, as asking a devine creator to help them cannot be a bad thing.
So, dear Japan, may you recover as quickly as a musician plays demisemiquavers in cut common. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
