Burns, Turns and Fatemobiles

Everybody bring your spandex and break out in funky disco moves, because I've rediscovered the existence of this blog. Ah, I've missed this fluorescent ninja party in hyperspace, I can tell you! That's not what you want to hear though. Where have I been? How have I been? Was I abducted by aliens, impregnated and forced to give birth through my mouth? Sadly, my dear children, I do not live in Strangetown, so this is not possible. I have actually been doing things with my life, though. For once, not of the pranking-people-while-sleeping-and-skipping-like-a-boss kind, but cool stuff all the same.

Sadly, I now have a job and am actually contributing to society. I know, I know, raping the Earth and taking up valuable oxygen was so much better. That was sarcasm, by the way. Everyone who knows me knows that I'm a bit of a greenie. Yes, Al Gore forever and whatnot. Oh, speaking of which, I'm totally a vegetarian now. I mean, I try to be a vegetarian, but can't always be for fear of getting an iron deficiency. I hear that it's not rather fun. But anyways, yay veggies. Back on topic, this carbon based life-form finally got employed. I work in a restaurant doing basically everything but cooking, and it is very intense! Apparently I'm great serving customers, and I have a good work ethic, but my mopping is 'adorably bad' and I can't put anything in the back room in the right place. In my defense, no-one ever showed me where to put anything in the back room, or how to mop. I swear I'm trying my hardest!

Actually, I'm having quite a bit of fun working hard. It's nice to know that you're actually doing something for someone other than yourself, even if it is just a family of hyperactive Indians and customers wanting to fill their gut. It's nice for something to have a purpose, for once. Especially when I'm  about to go out into the Big Bad World. I can't believe that I only have one day left of exams. After that, I've got the week off, followed by my final week at school ever, which is just fun activities anyway. It's totally nutballs! I feel like I'm really ready to move on and grow up, though. Sayonara, childhood!

Ohohoh! Total random stuff, but I just have to post on hear that I have an epic burn on my arm from work. It's all blistery and pink and is going to scar! I don't really know why I'm so excited about this, because burning your arm on a boiling pan is incredibly painful. But yeah, you all just had to know that. It's a pretty cool looking burn, mind you.

Anyway, back on track. Ahh, I forgot what I was going to say. So, I'll tell you all how I'm going to waste my time this week on my days off instead. Firstly, the final Inheritance Cycle book is coming out tomorrow and it's like over 800 pages and they're bring back Brom and it's going to be terrible and wonderful and omgomgomg. So, naturally I'm going to be reading it as quickly as possible. I also really want to marathon Princess Tutu because I haven't watched it for ages and it's still my favourite anime and blah. I was totally reading my DVD booklet the other day, and my parents walked past my room and I had to hide it under my pillowcase. You know, most teenagers hide porn out of embarrassment. I hide shoujo magical girl anime. Yeah, it's special. Anyway, I really want to read the translations of the Mawaru Penguindrum visual novels, because it is like, the anime of the year. And it like deals with fate and stuff and why does everything I like have to be about fate? Do I have some deep psychological complex about defying/accepting fate or something? Anyways, I need to catch up on Fate/Zero, Kimi to Boku, Chihayafuru and Guilty Crown before they update again. Currently, I'm only up to date on two ongoing animes, and they are Mawaru Penguindrum  and UN-GO. You can tell what I'm motivated to watch. And and and on Friday, I'm going to with my girls on "Mmmsauce Day" (gosh, I wonder who made up the word 'mmmsauce' pffft, that doesn't sound like me at all). And we're going to eat wonderful food at chic cafes and go shopping and and and it sounds cool, but it's really just a get-together for desperate singles. Together alone!

Time to initiate survival strategy, but no-one gets that reference get my grasp on the English language back. I should probably go finish my final English assignment, study for my final Maths exam and write a letter to my instrumental music teacher, because all those things need to be done by tomorrow. Seeing as I actually have some spare time now, and I'm feeling kinda inspired, I'll probably blog again later this week. Hopefully it won't turn in sappy drivel about my schooling career ending and starting a new life etc. I mean, it probably will, but whatever la la la, doesn't matter. These new dynamic views on Blogger seem cool and stuff, so I may give the ol' blog a revamp sometime. Or maybe not. I do quite like it like this. Bah, I should be going. Eat lots of cake and brush your teeth before bed!

Random post is random.

Just another one of those ‘random dot points of insanity’ posts.

·         Sing with me! It’s time for tamago-tamago-tamagotchiiiiii! -_- My sister’s annoying little thing just beeped. Seriously, I haven’t used tamagotchis fo’ years. If that things beeps one more time, I will smash it. Deadly. Serious.

·         The moment of facepalming when downloading Arakawa Under the Bridge becomes more important than doing your eight very important assignments

·         MY DOWNLOAD JUST CRASHED. SGDHJHGADIUHDSD. THE WORLD HATES MEEEEE.

·         Maybe it’s a sign. Devine intervention. And God didst say “Thou shalt not download weird anime. Thou shalt do thy assignments so that thou doest not fail school.” Because, you know, when the original commandments were made, people were communicated to in old-English. It was meant to be in Ancient Hebrew, guys.

·         Ahhhh! I’m going to fail the Maths and English assessments if I don’t start doing something. Y I STILL DO NOTHING BUT STEAL INUYASHA GIFS OFF TUMBLR?

·         Oooh. My hair smells like flowers ^^ This is amazing.

·         Iced tea cures everything, I swear that I am ready to work after drinking that sweet-but-not-too-sweet juice of life. Srsly, combining tea and fruit. Best. Idea. Ever.

·         FFFFFFFUUUUUUU! THE TAMAGOTCHI BEEPED AGAINNNN.

·         In almost three hours, I have written ten words. My parents will get home soon, and ask me what I have done. Sweet f-a.

·         I found my sister’s Tamagotchi and made it happy. Soh rewarding.

·         RELATIONS.

·         Ah, I’m remembering all my year eight mini-songs. Such as “Everything about you is so festy,” “Mrs Patin is a waste of space and time (even though it doesn’t rhyme),” “I like apricot mush and bananas,” and “The Mr Shou comes to you song.” Good times. I still like the “Exteng, what the hell” song the best.

·         GUYSGUYSGUYS. There is a live-action series of Arakawa Under the Bridge. Life. Complete. Must. See.

·         Speaking of Arakawa, I must bring it on schoolies, so that I can eff everyone’s minds. That show makes Princess Tutu seem like it has a normal premise, which is... whoa.

·         My family are home. Apparently, after all I did, my sister’s Tamagotchi was still unhappy.

·         Ah, the reminds me of when I had a Pixel Chick. That bitch was so needy, I ended up blu-tacking up the speaker holes and shoving her in a draw until she ‘got fed up with me and left home’. Who knew you could have catfights with a dumb virtual chick?

·         I was scrolling up this page, and I thought I saw “DAMN IN LUST.” That doesn’t even make sense. What the fudgetasticaketins.

·         The “Y U NO Guy.” His face... reminds me of my Maths A teacher from last year. The one who wrote ‘I quit’ on a post-it and walked out. Ahh, Plonker. When I saw him, I thought he would laugh like “Huhuhuhu” and I used to impersonate that. Sadly, it was much more pedo

·         All the single musos, all the single musos. Single women’s business, single women’s business.

·         I just rubbed my eyes after squeezing an orange. WHY AM I THAT DUMB? #pain

·         Sooo, almost four hours and nothing new accomplished. And I have an English exam tomorrow. I shall die.

·         How now brown cow?

·         STEGASAURUS!

·         You know, Jimmy cracked corn. And I don’t care.

·         I JUST KILLED FOUR HOURS OF MY LIFE DOING NOTHING IMPORTANT. Bakabakabakabaka.

·          Okay, I really will go now. Maybe later I'll post my random 'letter to self' thing that I created a few days ago before everone else posted theirs. Actually, that was a little too light-hearted. I'll probably try to tell it like it is a little more, and re-do it. Once I finish my school stuff. If I ever finish my school stuff. Ah, goodbye ninja chumps!

Let's Get Shizzywobble.

Goodness, gracious, great balls of ninja! It feels like so long since I last blogged! Actually, I haven't really being much on the social media side lately. But, I now feel compelled and obliged to blog, because I know just how deprived you've all been. What's that I hear? People screaming that they concur. Oh wait, that's just silence and my imagination. Mah bad! Well now, this is thoroughly awkward. Wait, you want me to keep blogging anyway? Oh this is amazing, tears of gratitude are pouring down my face.

Yeah, I don't even know what that was just then. See now, this is what happens when I decide to blog the day before I have to return to school. My brain is more than a little mixed up and fuzzy. On the pupil free day, I usually decide to do all the school-related things I should have been doing on the holidays. Well, I decide to do them, but I don't actually do them, because I'm lazy and unmotivated like that. Today I spent an hour practicing clarinet, which is the longest practice session I've had in quite a while. What can I say? I've been very uninspired. I wanted to practice oboe, but you know, the repair people didn't fix it at all, so I can't. Thanks guys, I really appreciate you not fixing my instrument.

I guess that gives me an excuse to not play it then. It's a shame that the one time I do feel like playing it, I can't. Well, not unless I'm comfortable playing it with half the note coming out incredibly airy and ridiculously flat. Whatevs. I'm going to read Macbeth soon, so I can get ahead for English. Not that I need to read it or anything, I just want to do it to annoy the other English teacher. He can't stand it when our class is ahead. That's right, I am maniacally laughing mwahahaha.

Unlike most "Oh-crap-tomorrow-my-holidays-end-and-I'm-back-at-school" days, I'm not feeling depressed. Seeing as the upcoming term is the most important and stressful in my school life, I probably should be. And, you know, there's the dreaded QCS test, which decides whether I can get into the courses I want to at uni. Plus, the majority of my marks come from this term, and it's just about my last chance to ensure I get an academic award. Which I won't, for the first time ever. Anyway, all of that loveliness aside, I'm feeling pretty pumped! I actually want to go back to school and try my best, and help anyone who isn't feeling that way feel happy. Which is going to be hard, because I guarantee that most people will come to school thoroughly depressed tomorrow. I'm sure my face will cheer them up lol jks it'll make them want to die even more.

This term is going to be my term! When I feel down, and I'm doubting myself, I'm going to re-read this, and get my confidence back up. My main problem with school this year has been whether or not I should try hard. Because, it's common knowledge that I am prone to killing myself over assignments (metaphorically. You didn't really think I was dead, did you?) and whinging about them a whole lot. So, I was all "Well, maybe I should slack off. That might make me happy." But, no-one likes a lazy bum. This term, I'm going to try my best, no matter what happens!

They say that your teenage years are the best years of your life. Well, I sure as heck don't know who 'they' are, and why they have the authority to tell all people when the best part of their lives are, but I do not believe this one bit. In my experience, teenage hood has been by far, the toughest and most stressful time of my life. Not only do you have to worry about a large workload, and making friends, but you're stuck in the strange purgatory. You're not a child, but you're not an adult either. This usually means that people act immature like children, but do things that adults do. I have always been frustrated by this. Then again, I've always been a bit of a special k. I will admit, I'm quite happy with where I am in life at the moment, but things can always be improved. I'm actually looking forward to improving them. I don't know what's up with the happy-sparkles optimistic mood at the moment, but I'm enjoying it.

There is much that I could blog about, but I need to go prepare for tomorrow. Overall, my holidays have been much more eventful than I thought they would be. In many different ways, I have learnt a lot about myself (lolz, mostly through emotionally purging on my parents. Pity those poor people.) Ohohoh! Guess what guys! I'm thinking of majoring in Philosophy next year. Not that it is really a career-leading thing, but hey, critical thinking is always sought after. I'll probably go with the Arts/International Hotel and Tourism Management, and end up doing Events Management. But, that's cool, because I'm good at it, and I do love organising things. Hopefully learning Spanish will also give me international opportunities, because I don't want to stay in Australia my whole life. I mean, it's awesomeballs of amazing here, but I want to see the world. And seriously, with Gillard in power, who would want to stick around? Worst Prime Minister ever? I think so. Oooh, now I've gone all political on you all.

Well, that was meant to be my concluding paragraph, but I can't very well end on Gillard. That would be a disgrace to everyone. I would like to add that I think that in the upcoming two months, everyone is going to need to be there for each other oh-so-much. So those unfortunate kiddiewinkles that get to see my sunshiney self at school every day, let's all help each other out and try our best! On that note, I shall leave you fine readers. Ciao for now!

Oh, those vampires won't let you be.

My brain has been partially deceased lately, thus inhibiting me from blogging. Well, not really, because if it had been, I would be seriously worried and probably in hospital right now, as opposed to in front of a laptop. My brain is feeling quite dull right now, though, so I'm going to do the whole subcategories thing to keep myself writing. You know that I'm not thinking straight when I spontaneously decided to write like a middle aged man, rather than a teenage girl. Just to keep it young and fresh here, I'm going to add a 'word'. Word.

[title of show] kills my vampires.

Is epic. "I'm trying to write a musical about two guys writing a musical about two guys writing a musical." Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Four people. Four chairs. A semi-mute guy on piano. Hilarious dialogue. Wonderful score. Excellent cast. Touching moments. Smart lyrics. Yes, I just incorrectly used full-stops multiple times for effect, so eat me. The title of this post comes from the song Die, Vampire, Die, which is about not letting what others say and your own insecurities get in the way of your creative expression. The wonderful thing about this musical is, while is it really, really funny, it is also highly relatable and has a great message. I've been dealing with many vampires of my own lately. That said, on to the next sub-heading!

The Vampire of Despair...

I really do go in circles with my problems. Saturday night was such a high, but yesterday saw me completely crash and burn in a blubbering mess. My way of dealing with life is "hold everything in, until you explode". This cataclysmic event happens about once every two months, and dear goodness, you don't want to be around when it happens. Cue "I've already failed at life and I'm never going to get anywhere" rant. [tos] line time!

You know when you're sick and you're like "Please don't throw up... please don't throw up!" then you throw up and you're all "I feel better... why didn't I throw up sooner?" I'm just sorry I threw up on you guys.

I should say that to my parents, because they are usually left with the lovely task of cleaning up my word-vomit. Well, everything is chuck-free now, thank goodness. Don't y'all just love insecurities, though?

Dracula... Literally draining me of blood.

Why thank you English Extension teacher, for not giving me back my draft that I sent you on Thursday. What I mean by that is "You man-bitch! Gimme my draft back, so I can do your stupid-ass assignment for Thursday, crackers!"

Did you just call me 'crackers'? Is this character black?

I have no f'idea how to finish the assignment. Getting a draft back won't help this, but at least it will give me a reason to work on it.

And when they come, run like Hell, see those bats on your Belfry, then call on Vanhelsing.

Anime may as well be a vampire, because...

It's draining me of life juices! I've invested waay too much time watching Hakushaku to Yousei lately. It's so addictive! Sadly, the anime only shows the first part of the story, so I'm trying to read the light novels. Only two of the twenty-five have been translated from Japanese to English, though, which is devastating. If any Japanese translators are reading this, pretty, pretty please translate them. If I had money, I'd totally pay you. Unfortunately, I'm broke. Can I pay you in love?

So. Many. Bishies.

Pop-culture vampires are lame.

They really are. I don't know what Stephanie Meyer was on when she decided that vampires should sparkle in the sun. But, let's not get into a pop culture rant. I've changed my mind, let's do it. You know who really annoys me in popular culture? Enrique Iglesias. I loved him when he sang cheesy-pop about being people's hero. Even his virtually unheard of uber-old Spanish stuff was cool. His recent music just makes me want to cut my ears off, though. Tonight I'm F*ckin' You- have you no standards, man? I see young teenagers writing "zomg. enrique iz soooo hawt and romantic. could he be an sexxier?" with regards to this song. Girls, if a man ever walks up to you anywhere and says this, I don't care if he looks like Enrique, please punch him in the mouth. He is obviously only an egotistical jerk ass who only cares about sex, or isn't man enough to act like a gentleman. Content aside, the amount of auto tune used on his recent album is appalling. It completely ruins any talent that he had, and gets rid of all the remaining traces of Spanish-ness in his voice. In conclusion: I don't care if Enrique is seriously one of the most attractive people alive (sigh. He has such beautiful lips. What? I warned you all that I notice people's mouth more than anything), his recent album was so disappointing, I revoked my status as a fan of him. Sadly, I still live in the hope that he will stop trying to be so annoyingly mainstream, but I doubt this will ever happen. Rant over, word.

Yeah, well, I no happy with you either.

Only four days left of blood-sucking goodness.

Hallelujah! That garlic must be working, because the vampire that is school is going to hide in it's coffin for three weeks in just four days time. I swear, it vants to suck my blood. Grade 12 be no fun, my homies. Well, academically fun anyway.

Yeah, I can imagine my Biol class being the same. Mwahahaa.

And that's the wrap up. Enjoy your evening, children!

Old Ladies Love it When I Talk Smut.

There is no doubt about it, I have impeccable timing. It seems to be predestined that whenever I say something completely and utterly embarrassing or sexual, someone who really shouldn't hear about it walks past. When I say 'walks past', I mean 'miraclulously turns up next to me for reasons unknown'. I don't know if this is the work of some celestial force, or a hint that I should acquire a less risque sense of humour.

Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have been talking to Anonymous Albino about boobs in a public place, erm, year twelve area. But, sixteen year old boys often only appear to have one thing on their minds, and he needed to be scolded. I'm not sure how the topic got as whack as it did. Let me try and remember...

AA: I have a brilliant idea! Gingerbread women. With gobstoppers for breasts. I could make a fortune out of that.

Humph. Of course no menopausal teachers are ever around when he says things like that. Actually, that's a lie. Next to me, he gets caught out saying 'interesting' things the most. That's probably only because he mentions such things so frequently, though. Now, where was I?

DSGirl: You'll need to expand your industry. You're not going to make enough money out of gingerbread men with boobs alone.

AA: Oh course I would. I'm sure that if they were in adult stores, they'd sell.

I'm pretty sure they already do sell gingerbread women, guys. I'm pretty sure that at this point, one of the guys in our group put his head on the table in shame. Sadly my friends, this was only the beginning. The gingerbread argument turned into a girls vs. guys debate on what was actually good about boobs. It got kinda... funky.

DSGirl: They don't stay firm forever, you know.

AA: Alas, that is true. I was very sad to have learnt that.

DSGirl: Wait... There was a time when you didn't know that?

AA: I'm sure that as a little kid, I wasn't looking at old people and thinking "Wow, those boobs aren't firm anymore."

DSGirl: Yeah, but you'd still see older women and know that out of general observation. It's something that just happens, and that's okay, because it's not like you want some old women walking around being like "Hey! Look at my nice, firm brea-"

At this point, my Biology teacher magically appeared out of nowhere. Well, apparently everyone else had seen her walking up, but I'd been facing the opposite direction, and had failed to notice. My reaction was something along these lines:
My hand automatically flew to my mouth, as if it smother it, lest something even worse were to come out, and I couldn't see myself, but I can almost guarantee that I was blushing. To make things just that little bit less suspicious, everyone suddenly decided to cease talking altogether. My Biology teacher looked at us all very strangely. She thought that we had been talking about her.

BT: Were you talking about me? All I heard was 'old woman', so I hoped that you weren't talking about me.

Everyone hastily denied that the conversation had been about her.

Everyone: No! Now it wasn't-
AA: We were just talking about old people in general.

Yeah, really smooth. At least she didn't hear what I was actually saying. This post shows that I'm no stranger to making blunders in front of respectable people. The worst of these incidents was probably last year's Biology camp. Some of my female friends and I were staying in a cabin that obviously used to be a room for boys. The pornographic drawings on the ceiling made that all too clear. And, well, the people running the camp obviously hadn't washed the doonas we had to use, because mine had a few white crusty stains on it. Yes, my friends, I had some very interesting, and probably correct theories about this. I spent a good ten minutes screaming and cursing about this, when, to my horror, our friendly neighbourhood overly-Christian male teacher knocked on the door, and told me that he had heard every word I had said.

The moral of this story is: if you don't have something respectable to say, don't say anything at all. I'm only kidding, if you don't have something respectable to say, go ahead and say it! If you have half my luck, great amounts of hilarity will ensue. May the demisemiquavers be with you, munchkins!

[demisemiquavergirl], bite your tongue!

He no happy with you...

Life in Demisemiquavers: The Abridged Post

Gosh, I love that feeling I get when the clock strikes 11p.m, and for some reason, I suddenly feel compelled to blog. My mind has been a complete whirlpool these past few days, and I have much to rant about. However, as wonderful as the night is, I know that to function properly tomorrow, I need to sleep tonight. Therefore, I'm making an abridged post! I wish I could make this post even half as funny as an abridged series (then again, some of them seriously lack humour and taste), but my brain is frizzled in the shizzle... drizzle. That totally reminds me of this mobile phone advertisement I saw in Hawaii. There were different stereotypes posting their way of saying 'LOL' on this full-keypad phone. I was as such:

Nerd: That's insanium in the cranium!
Goth: I'm laughing on the dark and pitiful inside.
Muso: /singing/ Shake ya funny makeeerr... Shake it. Shake it hard.

Okay, so nothing I said even appear there, but I said that it reminded me of it. My mind like to go on weird paths and tangents. Maybe it's not a linear narrative. Non-linear narratives are going to either be the success or the death of me. Only the next week will tell! Away with this tarrying, let the abridged areas of my life begin!

The Good:
Most assessment is finished for the term! To top this off, exam block allows me to have tomorrow off school, and Monday is a public holiday. Somewhere under 100 days left of school, ever. Did I mention the I go on proper holidays in a week and a half, too? Yeah, this is damn fine. Holidays always means more time to do lots of crazy things. So, expect moarrrrr random from my bloggings once they begin!

The Bad:
Well, I do still have assessment. Everyone is sick, and I'm starting to join that club. And, Noodleton. Just... urgh. Anyone who knows what I'm talking about, knows what I'm talking about /eyeroll/ My multiple discussions with him today only fuelled my dislike of him both personally and professionally. Especially the one in the afternoon. He's so smart, but he really needs to learn how to do his job properly.

The School:
English Extension is the only subject I have yet to be assessed for this term. I have a draft due tomorrow, which I have not even started. The lecture is due and week and a day from today. Despite having talked to my teacher about the assignment, I'm still pretty baffled. My main steam English teacher was much more helpful, thankfully. Not that I'm supposed to have talked to him or anything... Gotta love the teacher wars at my school. That aside, I don't know how I'm going to do the assignment. I've seen the structure for the defense now, so that's how good. However, I still don't really know how I'm going to do a complex transformation of Dracula. I've decided to give Mina the power role, and therefore most likely write from her perspective. Seeing as my chosen theorist insists that linear narratives restrict the freedoms of women, I'm going to have to make my transformation completely random. Emails dated at different times are seriously looking like my main option right now. Not that I know what to put in those emails. Yeah, I'm as stuffed as a teddy bear.

The Anime:
I've started watching yet another anime! Seriously, I always seem to get into anime that either have really strange names or premises, or ones that just aren't that well known or popular. Well, not always, but that has been a trend recently (excluding Shugo Chara! because, dayum that's popular). My newest anime obsession is no exception to this. In fact, it doesn't even have it's own TVTropes page, despite having a loyal and not-tooo-small following. Hakushaku to Yousei, which translates to "Earl and Fairy" would be the anime I'm talkin' 'bout. When I saw the English translation of the title, I literally headdesk'd. I mean, I've had to tell people for a few months now that my favourite anime is Princess Tutu, which makes me sound like a brainless fairytale-loving child, when in reality, the show has an almost exclusively adult following, who respect it for it's metaphysical elements and the way in which it deconstructs reality, whilst parodying theatre and fairytale genre. On top of the awesome characters and shipping. But, I'm getting off track again. I was "totes devo" that my new anime obsession had a name that was almost equally as childish-sounding. Thankfully, it's most often called by the Japanese name, so let's stick with Hakushaku to Yousei.

It is set in 19th century London, and tells the story of 17-year-old Lydia Carlton, a 'fairy doctor' whose world is turned upside down when she accidentally gets involved with Lord Edgard Ashenbert (and by 'accidentally invovled', I mean kinda abducted, kinda forced to run for her life with. Whoot death plots). I'm pretty sure that Edgar's actually a criminal on the run, and his real name is John. But he's not really bad? And his name might actually be Edgar? Yeah, three episodes in, and I still don't understand him at all. He totally has a servant named Raven, who everyone seems to fangirl over. Not that Edgar doesn't also have his share of fangirls. This isn't at all surprising, seeing as he looks like Usui from Kaichou wa Maid Sama! (did I get the spelling right, ClearlyUnfocused? I didn't bother checking it). They are both fangirl-worthy. The ending credits are just blatantly fanservice-y. I was thinking to myself "What demographic is this made for? It's too intense to be for children. It's got too many romantic moments to be for men. Then who?" A few minutes later, I saw the ending creit animation, which consists on shots of the show's male characters nude, presumably sleeping on beds, and only covered on their lower torso by a sheet. I was all "Riiiiight. This is for young women! ZOMG! THAT MEANS I'M ACTUALLY PART OF THE INTENDED DEMOGRAPHIC FOR ONCE. SCORE!" I'm really loving it. Romance + mystery + different time period + a little bit of violence + anime mancandy + some fantasy = win for me! Aaaaanyways, as much as this anime hooked me in from pretty much the first second I watched it, I'm not too sure what's going on. Well, I think I know what's going on, but I don't know how to explain it. Which is probably good, because I have made this section way to fat already. WHY DOES EVERYTHING I HAVE GET OBESE? D:

The Theatre:
This weekend, I'm seeing the hilariously awesome return season of [title of show] with my galpals, which shall be wonderful! Then, next Friday and Saturday night, I'm seeing the return season of Jesus Christ Superstar, which I am incredibly excited about as well! And, I have just received word that I'm flying interstate to see Don Giovanni at the opera house with my uncle and grandparents in October.

The Religious:
Because I am in a religious mood, I saved the best until last. I don't believe in forcing one's religion on others, but this is my blog, and I would like to share a verse that I have always loved. Et hem.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband; and I heard a great voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people and Gos himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away."
Rev. 21:1-4

This never fails to fill me with such wonderful hope. We must remember that, being from Revelation, there's going to be a lot of symbolism kicking off, and a lot of things that simply don't make sense in our culture and context. But, the underlying message of hope for the future still rings through. I personally think what it means is this: Everything is temporary, and will come to pass. Enjoy what you have, while you can, as it will not last. However, pain and suffering shall also pass, and one day, when all these worldly things and feelings are gone, you will be left in the peace of God, who loves you, and all shall be well.

God has been so good to me lately. Being the sinner that I am, I got frustrated with Him, and said that he wasn't in my life enough. The next day, a series of ridiculously ironic things happened, and I gained a lot more direction. Yeah, He was all "Bitch, please. I'm always here, you just haven't been looking for me." What can I say? My God is an awesome God.

Aw nuts, I've gone and spent way too long on this post anyway. SHITAKIMUSHROOMCAKES! It's almost midnight, and I've got a long day tomorrow, thanks to the existence ofExtEng. Goodnight, moon children!

Life in Cartoon Motion.

SUPERJUICYBALLSERIFICTASTICNESS! When a post starts off that epic and hyper, you know I'm in a good mood. Fellow internet-dwelling-lifeforms, I am in a very good mood. This sudden ascension in feelings is quite random, but justified. Who could be of ill nature, when I four day weekend was ahead of them? Sure, I just discovered that I have an ExtEng assignment due weeks sooner than I thought, and after being made to do a self-analysis of myself in Rave today, I have realised just how much I fail at life. These factors shall not break my stride, for the angel of nonsensical happiness only visits me at the changing of the moon cycle. Actually, the whole new moon cycle is a coincidence. Or, if you're into that sort of thing, you could argue that it isn't. My life really has seemed much better since the commencement of this new moon cycle. So, let us all dance around like lunatics and praise the hunk of heavenly rock, for reigning it's blessings on me.

Well, I am totally in tune with the moon. I know I've said this before, but my middle name means 'moon goddess' and is derived from alternate name for the Greek God of the moon. And, if I had the choice, I would probably be partly nocturnal. Okay, I'll admit it: I already am partly nocturnal. I'm like a cat. Oooh, that really is an excellent symbol for me. Apart from my feline-like features, I am intelligent, non-dependent on others, I have a great deal of pride, I choose when I want company and when I do not, I love the night, but I also love curling up in a warm bed and falling asleep, amongst many other things.

Excalibur clearly isn't impressed by my neko-girl behaviour.

This totally reminds me of Shugo Chara, which I have now watched 5 episodes of. I'm actually really enjoying it! I think, once you watch one magical girl anime, your suspension of disbelief in regards to any plot just increases by an infinite amount. This is my third (arguably fourth, seeing as I watched Sailor Moon as a child) magical girl anime, so it didn't phase me when main character Amu suddenly had guardian characters that hatched out of the eggs that were the desires in her heart, helping her to be her "would-be-self". Anyway, when Amu met Ikuto for the second time, she called him a "perverted cat cosplayer", which amused me to no extent. I mean, he totally had it coming, seeing as he had cat ears and a tail the first time they met, and he's not exactly, erm, not perverted. For example, following this comment, he tries to steal her remaining unhatched egg, and ends up straddling her, and she's all like "Why do you want my eggs?" It was such a Does This Remind You of Anything moment. Did I mention that he's seventeen, and she's only twelve? Pedo! Not that that stops me from shipping them like crazeballs. And I do not totally forgive the many weird things that Ikuto does just because he is total mancandy. I'm not that shallow, nooo.

Nah, I'm not actually that shallow. It's just usually an obvious visual metaphor to give the characters who are darker in personality/more messed up attractive dark hair. And those just happen to be the sorts of characters that I like. C'mon guys, everyone likes some good ol' fanbait. I almost feel ashamed to like this character though, because most of his fans are pretty disgraceful. Yesterday, I read on a forum that someone liked him because they liked the idea of him being a sexual predator. Firstly, he may be a bit of a tease, but sexual predator? I don't think they'd actually put someone like that in a shojo series. Secondly, anonymous person, you need counselling. I know that like, most of the internet world has strange fetishes and weirdness, but that's just kinda messed. /sighs/ Thank goodness Fakir fangirls are usually much more rational and intelligent. He still pwns all other male anime characters, just sayin'.

Gawshsnapdangit! Anime got me off track... again. This post has kind of been written over the space of a few hours. In between the time of my super-hyper-mood, my anime-yay mood and now, I have spent some solemn time under the stars. You know, my internet munchkins, sitting on the grass, watching the stars is my favourite place to be. Getting away from technology, people and a cynical, yet caring blog ninja and just meditating is so nice. As is rekindling your relationship with God. I said earlier that Rave had made me realise that I fail at life. We had to assess out of ten how we were as students, siblings, friends and children. I rated myself at pretty much average for all of them, realising that school is where I do best and put all my effort, yet it is the place I hate the most. I've been far too antisocial, and have neglected my role as a member of my family. But, the wonderful thing is, now that I've realised these things, I can change! I can get off mah ass and be the fudgeballtastic human beanstalk that I want to be. And, I can do it with God's help. What can I say? I would be a broken mess of kindling and unspecified woodchips without my religion. I care not what anyone says, because it is such a vital part of my life.

Ohohoh! I better write down the weird dream I had last night, before I forget. Schnitzelburgersmemoryboxhead. Mkay, so I shall try to remember all that I can. [MissInvisible] told me that she was going to see the ballet at, erm, the big theatre in my city which for anonymity's sake shall remain nameless. I responded to this with "Really? I'm so jealous! I never got to see ht ballet! But my parents are taking me to a party at the theatre." So, I go to this party with my family, but it turns out to be a rave party, with lots of people and alcohol. Actually, there's four bottles of spirits, but my parents are offended, because they thought there would only be two. So, I get dragged out of the party be my parents. I have this feeling that something else happenes after this, but I can't remember it. Anyway, [WhiteRibbon] and [Gojo] come up to me and are like "What are you doing? It's our graduation and you're going to be late!" So I freak outlike "ZOMGIMGRADUATINGFROMHIGHSCHOOL!?" and try to follow them to get to my graduation. The next part is fuzzy. Something about floods. Something about more theatre. Oh yeah, I was going on this tour with Marco Grazzini (don't judge me. I'm so sorry not-well-known-actor/VA-dude-who-happens-to-be-incredibly-attractive. I didn't mean to dream about you) and there were lots of other people there. Something about looking at the auditorium of a very large theatre. Something more about floods. I remember being depressed in the dream, because I was like "Aw. MG is 20s/30s. That means I won't be able to go out with him" followed by the realisation that in my dream, his hair was suddenly curly. This got a reaction of "ZOMG! MG HAS CURLY HAIR. THAT MEANS HE MUST STRAIGHTEN HIS HAIR!" but this didn't last for long, and soon I was back to my fankid depression, and trying to escape from the flood. I think I ended up going to my graduation? I don't know, but it was weird. I don't really ever take dreams to have meaning, but if you did, what the heck do you think this would symbolise? Speaking of symbols, I totally meant to litter this post with Mika references, seeing as I stole the title of this post from his first album, but I forgot. Oh well, it's not like I've listened to any of his music in years anyway.

I should probably head off to bed. I hope you all have lovely dreams, that aren't half as strange as mine. On the same token, don't have dreams that are graphically violent like my normal ones, either. Just sleep well, yeah? And keep being wonderful ninjasaurus munchkins, because if you do, life will bless you with nunchucks and lack of height. And I know that, deep down, that is exactly what you all desire.

//EXTRA NOTE: My Blogger has been really weird for the past few weeks. As of a while ago, I cannot post comments on anyone's blog, because the comment function will not let me log in. I am also automatically being logged out any time I actually vist a blog/my own blog and cannot log in without getting redirected to the Dashboard, and logged out again when I try to go back to the blog. So, my apologies for not having commented on anyone's blog for ages. I take no liability for technological failings.
OT I had a blog view from Spain today! I get many views, for many random countries, but I'm always happy when some Spaniard happens across my blog, even if they probably don't read it or understand it. I loves Spain too much :3

Red Oni, Blue Oni

I swear, TVtropes has ruined my life. I mean this in the most wonderful and appreciative way possible. I have been away from the blogging world for a few days because I have actually been taking some time to devote myself to my school work. I know, this is equally unbelievable and astounding. In reality, it's not, because I am a renowned nerdburger, who is constantly stressing about school and working hard to make sure that I do well on all my tests and ace my assignments. As much as I hate school, I'm probably one of the few people in my "oh-so-apathetic" grade that genuinely cares about getting an education, and is prepared to work hard, no matter what. I know I bitch and whinge about school in this blog a lot, and say that I'm neglacting my work, but I'm not really.

Anyway, back on track. I have an English oral that was due today, but I didn't get the chance to present. Darn schnitzel, I wish I'd been able to get it done! I shall be presenting to tomorrow though, so all is well! Then, I have a Maths exam on [next] Wednesday, and my Biology assignment due on Friday. Despite having a fair bit to do, I have mostly taken tonight off, for my own sanity. Hurrrm, I'm not sure if sanity is the correct word to use. Sane people don't generally spend two and a half hours on TVtropes, reading about anything and everything, buuuut... It is so addictive. Plus, I can't help but relate everything in my life to tropes these days.

I was re-re-re-re-re-watching (and seriously, for this particular episode, that's not even close to enough re's. Oh dears!) an episode of TDWT, and I noticed this:

Okay, so I'd never actually taken into account the colours of the train icon things before, because I can often fail at analysing mise en scene. However, last time I watched it, I was automatically like "ZOMGREDONIBLUEONI!" But then it occurred to me that Heather & Al were waay too similar to fit into that trope... aren't they? /creepy music/ Justification is just a hop, click and a paragraph of rambletastic goodness away, but for now, here's another picture.

Oooh, their representative colours have swapped... In the space of only one episode, too. How could this be? /dun dun dun!/ Okay, first let me explain what red oni and blue oni actually is:

Differing sets of personalities are attributed to red oni and blue oni, which have often come to be the personalities of many a protagonist/antagonist combination, or that of a pair of rivals. The two are almost always forced into close contact, either voluntarily or by some outside social or legal reason such as being members of the same family, school, dojo, soldiers together in The Squad, etc. Despite their wildly different personalities and philosophies the two often have either the same (or related) professions and/or skills. This of course gives them something to butt heads about, since they will also often have vastly different ways of going about whatever it is they're competing over and each will insist that his way is the best. [TVtropes]

For example, in real life, I am a blue oni and my sister is a red oni. She is the enthusiastic, zesty, more-emotion-than-intellect, better-people-connecting, positive one. I, however, am the more intellectual, proud, traditional, cultured, socially-strange, so-much-more-if-you-scratch-beneath-the-surface one. This picture pretty much says it all:

Poor Excalibur. I wouldn't want to be caught between the two of us either ;)

Aaaaaanyway, back to the anaylsis. Here is my hypothesis: In the sense that I'm alaylsing it, I think the visual symbolism used by the creators was purely unintentional. It does, however, highlight some of the key aspects of the two character's relations. On first glance, the two are quite similar, as they are both extremely manipulative and quite selfish. However, on deeper inspection, we can see that the two contrast eachother in many ways. Prior to the season finale [picture one], Alejandro was the blue oni of the pair. He was constantly thinking of tactics, and kept a level head and facade throughout kost of the competition. Heather, however, was very prone to letting her emotions and annoyances overpower her strategies. While it often payed off, her decisions and reactions were usually reckless and impulsive, whereas Alejandro's were extremely contrived and well thought out. Therefore, although both were antagonists that sought to win, their tactics and persoanlities, when analysed were very different. The role reversal occurs in the season finale [picture two], when Alejandro drops his calm facade, and decides that his relationship with Heather is what is most important to him. This married with his Beserk Button moment over being called Al, and his Freudian Excuse which came in the form of childhood bullying and abuse from his older brother, made him the more rash and emotional of the two. Heather, in contrast, used his newfound emotionality to her advantage, and strategically put on an act for the great majority of the episode, eventually winning the season. Yeah, this is what happens when you do too much English.

... Excalibur is asleep. I apologise if you also are. Well, at least I found my Red Oni, Blue Oni rant fascinating. Then again, I'll use any excuse to talk about shipping, or ranting in general. As a side note, the Fakiru pairing is completely ROBO, so much so that I don't even need to bother arguing it. Hnnn, I really do seem to like the whole opposites thing. Which reminds me! I totally started watching Shugo Chara today. I fangirled over a character, and shipped two characters before I even watched the show. I fangirled further over said character just because they turned up in the opening credits. I got even more crazy with my shipping, just because the two character had all of one scene together in the first episode. That pretty much sums up how I was with Tutu. You should all pray that it doesn't go down that path, otherwise you'll be reading a looot more about it. Random fact: the word 'oni' roughly translates to 'demon' or 'ogre' in Japanese. Ah, I should be getting to bed. Seeing as it is the last day of May, I did feel compelled to make one more post before the month ended. I made a sketch of Excalibur on my English notes, because I wasn't learning them properly, and Paint'd it just then. On this image, I shall end the post. Goodnight and sweet dreams, munchkinies!

//A.N: My Blogs have been being just a little serious of late. I promise you all I'll do something exceedingly random again soon. Holidays are in just two and a half weeks, and you can be sure that my mind will be flowing with crazy thoughts then. Beunos noches! x

Biology. It's a way of life.

LOLJK it's a class I'm forced to do. So, I'm sitting here next to tthe wonderful Gojo, and we're going through our blogging history and seeing where our blogs come up on Google. I'm on the first page for Clannad, demisemiquavers, travel bug and feminism. The latter is thoroughly random, but hey, I'm cool with drawing in views due to critical theory. Gojo's trying to get me into HetaOni. It sounds really random, but hey, we all know that randomness is superduperawesomeballsofcool, yeah? I'm told that it's like an RPG that you watch, and it's kinda like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, but with Hetalia people. So, even if I end up taking ages to watch it, you fine people should anyways.

I've been thinking about uni again. The other day, my parents pretty much told me that I had to go to a specific uni, and not do the only course that I've ever been in. Oh, but they'll totally support me in whatever I do in life, because the world is my oyster. Yeaaah, thanks for being consistent, dear parentals. I don't really mind what they say. I'm thinking of doing ArtsxJournalism, so that I have a wide variety of English/culture/possibly language or travel career options. I was interested in doing the dual with International Hotel and Tourism management, buuuuut... I don't know. I love Events Management, but I'm not so big on business or anything that has to do with Maths, really. So, we'll see. I'm praying that God will give me guidance. I mean, I know that I have to take control of my life and my destiny, but I feel that if I have God to guide me, everything will turn out okay in the end. I read something the other day: When you have faith, there is no reason to be afraid. Fakir moment! "I will face my fate... without fear!" Mkay, so that was a combination of two lines that are said at totally different times, but you didn't know that. Oh noes, I blew my cover! /runs and hides in a bush/

Apologies for this being a rather boring post. I blame Biology. I'm hoping to have a more interesting post when I get home. It shall be about passionfruit and symbolism in TDWT songs, maybe. Yeah, that probably sounds lameballsereific, but I shall make it fun for you, my wonderful viewerkiddies! Speaking of viewers, I haz a new follower! Seeing as I don't exactly have a massive following, I like to acknowledge when a noob (I say that in an endearing way) joins the [demisemiquavergirl] crew. That said, salutations and greetings to my newest follower! ^^)

Memoirs of an Antagonist

I can wholeheartedly say that I had fun in HPE today. Like, whoa. I know, you probably believed that the rapture was going to happen a few days ago more than you believe I had a good time in HPE. As much as I despise the subject, it can be pretty good, sometimes. Today, our class was meant to be doing Volleyball. I don't know why. For some reason, the teacher has an obsession with volleyball. Even though barely anyone seems to take proper interest in it. Hurrm. Anyway, for some reason, the teacher decided that four people could go off and play unsupervised tennis, while the remainder of the class played volleyball. Naturally, [Gojo], [ClearlyUnfocused], [AnonymousAlbino] and I all volunteered to play tennis stright away. I mean, the HPE teacher was lucky to have all of us turn up to his lesson. We're all... Less than fit. Or sporty. So, for the whole period, we played a rather disjointed and dysfunctional game of tennis. I think I've mentioned it before, but [AnonymousAlbino] and I have this story going, where he's the protagonist, and I'm the antagonist. Well, I dibs'd being the antagonist, and he got stuck being the protagonist, because, who wants to be the good character? ehehe. I remember when I was a kid, and everyone would want to be the good guy or princess or whatever. Nowadays, people fight over being the baddie. Well, I don't know if normal members of society make up strange stories and cast themselves as characters, but whatever. I decided that we also needed an antihero and an antivillain. [Gojo] dibs'd antihero, and [ClearlyUnfocused] reluctantly took antivillain. It was most amusing, seeing as half of our party didn't even fully know what those character types were at first.

Anyhoo, back to the tennis game! So, we paired off into doubles. [Gojo] and I were a team. We were the dark side, and we haz cookies! We found it a most fitting antag/antihero pairing, seeing as the antihero typically is cast with the antagonist, or pretends to be bad/is bad, then reforms. Obviously, [AnonymousAlbino] and [ClearlyUnfocused] were our opponents, fighting for the side of good. Though none of us were all too good at actually hitting the ball, or getting a rally going (though, I must say, the dark side was much better than the good >:3 mwahaha) it was an awesome tennis game.

Being evil and all, I decided that when actually winning by hitting the ball over the net failed, the best thing to do was to run at the protagonist, and face him in a duel, using the tennis rackets as swords. My swordsmanship was epic, but I could only stay on the side of good for so long, without having to return to the dark side to regain my villain powers. See, my Freudian excuse for being a villain was that I was such a failed tennis player, I tried to overcompensate by being evil. And I had a tragic back story. Bad childhood, yo. [ClearlyUnfocused]'s Freudian excuse just was the protagonist. They were always arguing, and he treated her very badly. Actually, their bickering, while hilarious, held up the game a lot. The antihero and I decided that the good side was much too slow.

Except, my antihero seemed to have BST with the protagonist. This was all "very stifling to the plot". Although, their interactions were very amusing, as it proved that she was not truly evil. While they were bickering, I tried to convince the antivillain to leave the side of good, and come over to the dark side, where everything was better. I used my manipulative skillz to get her to give me a ball, at one stage :3 It was a victory for the plot, and for evil.

I have the most random times at school. Like, this afternoon, [Gojo], [ClearlyUnfocused], [Dylman] and I made a barricade at the top of the stairs to stop our English teacher from getting through, and therefore avoid giving us our drafts back. Mkay, so I was kinda annoyed that after eight days, I hadn't gotten my draft back, but the whole situation was just amusing. The dude hadn't even marked the drafts yet, so he sat outside the staffroom, marking them, and using very colourful language to describe the task. Then our instrumental teacher walked past, and the two teachers had the weirdest mock-staring-competition-thing I've ever seen. I think bombarding teachers after school, and playing weird story-tennis-games are the sorts of things I'll remember about school. The work is going to be forgotten so quickly, but those things, yeah, I'll remember them. And I shall look back and trololol.

Top left: Gojo, Top Right: AnonymousAlbino, Bottom left: Meee, Bottom right: ClearlyUnfocused. The crazy tennis story game thang!

Now, for something completely random. At said draft conferencing thing, [ClearlyUnfocused] was saying that she would really need her chocolate this afternoon. And I was like "Whaaat? Oh, thaaaat chocolate," and our English teacher was all "Errrm. Chocolate isn't code for heroin or something, is it?" lolz. Luckily, it is not. Otherwise, our instrumental teacher would have bought my friends and I blocks of heroin yesterday. Awkward! Oh yeah, our band totes played at a shopping centre yesterday. And we were awesome. And [Gojo] introduced me to the best chips and gravy ever. And we got free donuts. And, as mentioned, the instrumental teacher bought us blocks of chocolate as a thank-you for busking at some school event. It was totalawesomeballs!

Well, I better go actually fix my draft, even though I don't really understand the feedback my teacher has written. Oh wells! Farewell, kiddiewinkles. Excaibur agrees with me: DON'T DO DRUGS. N'awww moral ending.

Your Weapon is Your Voice.

Greetings, good bloggers. My goodness, I am in a good mood. In fact, I've been in a really good mood all day. It doesn't make much sense, considering I left a lot of the things I need for assignment work at school, and I have three assignments and a 3000 word draft to write tomorrow. My internet is so slow that it can barely be considered working, and I should be in bed asleep. I need to practice instrumental, because I have an assessment on Monday. Despite all of this, I'm feeling really happy. Most of the seniors went to a careers expo on Friday, which, let's be honest, the vast majority of people went to because it was free and time off school. Yeah, there were some really cool freebies (giant lollipops anyone?) and I spent a good deal of time either sitting down chatting, or pigging out on food. But, when I did actually go and look around at the stalls, and when I talked to the people at the specific university that I want to go to, it was really informative. I've decided that I'm not going to be lazy, and I'm going to do the double-degree, starting next year: Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Spanish and English Literature, and Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management, majoring in Events Management. It certainly is a mouthful! I think a lot of my hobros are going to be doing Arts next year, so I'll get to see them around. Thinking that I'll still have something to do with at least some of my friends is a big relief. I really don't want to lose everyone, because well, I'm pretty much socially inept, so making new friends is hard, and I really do love my current crew.

I mean, we can all have such random times. For example, tonight I went to [TenutoTuo]'s Eurovision Second Semifinal party. I made a deathly nachos, that actually turned out to taste pretty good, and spilt half the things I tried to eat all over myself. [ClearlyUnfocused] and I ranted and dissed the twins through their whole performance, and got depressed when Bulgaria didn't get through to the finals. [GoJo] and I found out that staring at curtains was highly entertaining, and us chicas all cracked up singing "ding dong, say no more". Everyone sung along to New Tomorrow, I mean, how could you not? And, like, Jedward. Do I even need to say anymore? Disappointingly, many of the entrants that I liked didn't qualify for the Final. Devo'd. I'll still be watching it tomorrow night, though, so no epic spoilers anywhere, mmkay? Turns out that my Dad ended up watching Eurovision at home, while I was out. He had the same favourite countries as me (Bulgaria, Denmark, Slovenia, Ukraine), so whoot. Except, I loved Belgium and Ireland as well. Heck, I loved most of them, I just can;t remember them all right now. Dad totally wasn't keen on Jedward, but that was hardly surprising. Apparently my Mum really didn't like Bulgaria. What a lamo.

Eurgh. Quarter past twelve, I should probably go to bed. Mmm. Yes, I am feeling very content. But, some shout outs before I go.
[ClearlyUnfocused] - Good luck with your baptism tomorrow! I'm so sorry that I can't be there, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you. I find it so wonderful and inspirational that you've decided to take that step in affirming your faith. Go, you good thing! God bless.
[TentuoTuo] - I hope you're alright. As you know, I didn't fully know what was going on tonight, but I just went to check Fb and, yeah. If you need to talk any time (or not) feel free. I can haz hugs for you on Monday?
[GoJo] - Erm, yeah, just sending some love out to you too, spesh kiddo. Your Denmark reppin' tonight was totes hawt, just sayin'. xP

Bulgaria's song! </3

Okay, so we all know it's past my bedtime, because I'm starting to write drivel. Yeah? Yeah. Alright then, goodnight everyone!

He tits me off so much.

So, my lovelies [MissInvisible] and [ClearlyUnfocused] decided with me today that we should all make this the title of our next blog post. I don't know if I actually got the right title, or if they'll go through with making it their's, but that's not the point. The title of this post is what it is, full stop. Maybe it's nine people's favourite thing? Gah, [tos] songs stuck in my head. I'd say that I wanted them gone, but I don't, so I won't say that.
This week has been quite strange so far. Monday morning, I turn up to form, only to be told that our school has won some United Nations competition, and that representatives from the UN, as well as the media, are coming to our school on Wednesday. Apparently Grade 11 and 12 are getting to trial some driving simulator. Now, if there is anyone who is going to fail at operating a simulator, it would be me. I am to most unco-spastic-flailing-crazy in the world. So, guess who the teachers chose to a) operate the simulator in front over everyone and b) talk to the media (which, apparently, could include national news crews and reporters) about the school and the day. Yeah, for some insane reason, they chose me. I'll never understand why. Apparently it's because I'm a "confident and articulate young woman" and my Principal thought the idea of representative was "fantastic". Look, I promised myself that I would start taking life as it comes, and embracing all the opportunities that may come my way. So, hesitant about how well I will actually represent the school or not, I accepted. Not that, you know, you can really say no when your Principal asks you to do something of the sorts. Too be honest, I'm feeling very aprehensive about the whole thing, because, although I completely pwn at public speaking, I am not actaully confidant in myself at all. Usually, I'm able to put this asside, and ramble on in my loud voice about something that sounds slightly intelligent, but... media? I'm honestly hoping that a local reporter just turns up, because, I don't really believe our school has done much in terms of safe driver awareness, and I'm always forgetting the road rules myself, so if they ask me anything, I'm going to be hard pressed to actually find come up with a decent response. Plus, knowing me, I'll probably find some way to break their fancy simulator. Ask anyone I know, if there was anyone who would accidentally break important eqipment, it would be me. I mean, I accidentally dropped a school laptop twice today. Biggest. Klutz. Ever.

On a totally different note, I handed in my Music Composing and Analysing Repertoire assignments today. Words cannot describe how good it felt to finally be rid of them! For once, I was proud of my composition. It actually sounded somewhat professional, as opposed to a crotchet rhythm that a four year old could have written. Actually, I know that I composed some better stuff at the age of four than I did at the age of fourteen. That's kinda awkward. I still need to finish and hand in my Maths and Music Extension assignments next week, all of which I lack the motivation to do, but, oh well. I shall find it in myself to complete them, and complete them at least adequately well. Despite my moaning, I always do.

My attitude to school is getting better, suprisingly. I mean, it still sucks Dick from Hotel Sorrento, but I'm finally finding it in me to just bite the bullet and get on with things. It's about dang time! I had quite a few fun moments today. Most notably when my MusExt teacher had to rush home because her son was sick, and asked [ClearlyUnfocused] and I to find assorted members of the college and either send them to her, or inform them that senior choir was to be cancelled on account of her absence. [MissInvisible] is a member of the choir, because she is an amazing singer, so we went to find her first. We knew that she was in Chemistry and must therefore be in one of the science labs. Alas, we looked in the wrong lab first and ended up opening the door on a young science class. Awkward! Well, not as bad as yesterday, when I knocked on the door of senior Buisness class, to get the laptop trolley for my Music teacher, and ended up being abused by the Buiness teacher for daring to open the door. She hates me, even though I've never been rude to her, or had her for anything. I digress. We found the invisible one in the next science lab, and she was only too happy to come walkabouts with us, looking for more choir members. After all, the unfocused kid and I had no clue as to who else was actually in choir. On our journies, we went into many a classroom, proclaiming the good news, or bad, depending on wheather any of them were choir musos or not. At one classroom, [ClearlyUnfocused] spotted a serial Facebook-attention-whore and exclaimed "He really ticks me off!" Normal sentence, am I right? Of course, I heard it as "He really tits me off!" because that completely makes sense. We three then went on to try to claim it as a blog post title, so, there's the story of the title. N'aww.

There was also a fire drill today. The alarm went off, but it was so soft, that no-one in our Maths A class could actually hear it, and another teacher had to come and tell us to get out of the building. None of us really took it seriously, and as [GoJo] and I pointed out, the alarm wasn't very alarming. Turns out that some people had been welding, and there actually was a small fire. It's comforting to know that the one time that there actually is a fire, no-one suspects it.

[ClearlyUnfocused] just blew my mind by telling me that Nine People's Favourite Thing from [title of show] which, yes, actually has those bracket things, reference's RENT's Seasons of Love. I completely fail at intertextual referencing. Soooo, I'm kinda in love with [tos] at the moment. I'm sorry, but a musical about about two guys writing a musical about two guys writing a musical, filled with Broadway references, sexual jokes, and complete randomness, that breaks the fourth wall and manages to be as heartwarming as it is hilarious just equals win. I'm currently listening to [Untitled Opening Number]. The fact that they're pretty much just singing about what they're doing with the music makes me laugh so much. To say that I'm excited to see it again in June is the understatement of the century. I'm estatic to be seeing it again. My poor group of friends that are coming along this time. They must think that [ClearlyUnfocused] and I are on drugs, the way we sometimes talk about it. Scratch that, they probably think we're on drugs more when we're talking about a certian /cough/ voice actor of uhm, Spanish descent. And the show that he was in. No, we don't take anything.

Well, I shall leave y'all before I lack the self restraint to not bombard you with [tos] quotes.

[a.n : Yes, I originally got the title of this blog post wrong, but it has been edited. What now, bitches? Ooh, your song's dertivative. Anyways, I attribute this to the fact that, despite having an epic visual memory, I have the worst aural memory in the history of the world. My Mum told me that if I didn't put my lunchbox out by 5pm this afternoon, I'd have to do the washing up. Two minutes later, I'd already forgotten and ended up washing the dishes on my lonesome. Yay me.]

It's tooooo hard! ehehe. That's what she said.

erygsdkjad<dkghj. Zomg, that was a keyboard smash of awesome. You know, I'm feeling really quite good right now. Dear goodness, if only I could have emotional babble kind of rants to all my teachers, then I think I would be on the track to being alright. To put some context to this, today I told my instrumental teacher about all the problems and self issues I was having with the subject. I believe she thought I was slightly (no, very) insane, and over-reacting like crazy, but it was so good to actually get all my frustration and built up problems off my chest. For the first time this year, I was subsequently able to have a lesson where I felt happy, and laughed, and remembered just why the subject used to be a solid favourite of mine. Ah, it feels so amazing to actually resolve a problem, instead of gaining another one. I don't really have much else to report, so how about another round of random thoughts. They were very random last time, yeah? Well, let's see what's going through my mind today...

David Harris is looking at me. Jack Sparrow is looking at me. MASKS ARE LOOKING AT ME, AND THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE EYES 0_0 Why hello there, Phantom mask. Aw. It's dusty... like yo mama?

Save the drama for yo mama. Whaaaaaaat. It's on my wall. Hall. Fall. Tall. Mall. Paul. Saul. Maul. Darth Maul? STAR WARS!

Eh. I should be doing my music assignments. ehehe. Music performing assignment today. LOLfail, am I right, guys? At least not everyone thought it was bad. It would have helped if I could breathe properly.

Ehehehe. Reminds me of the time today, when I had to get a drink because my throat was so clogged that I couldn't breathe. After getting a drink, I was skipping down the path, thinking about the wonders of a working respiritory system... And my princial saw me. He's cool though. He didn't wink at me, for once D: It was most disappointing.

Wait, ASSIGNMENTING. Buuuut, I have no homework. I really need some de-stress time, and I actually feel like I can have it at the moment. As opposed to setting time to do nothing, and flipping out anyway. Mortified... wait, I mean, testified? Justified? Ehh. RELATIONS!

I wonder if they're funny looking. Zomg. Anyone else remember Plasmo? No? Sometimes I think my childhood was in a parallel universe. Just sayin'.

"Soooo far, weee are, soooo clooooose" erm, sorry, just karaoke-ing here. Don't mind me. What? It's a good song, am I right [ClearlyUnfocused]?

I have a canvas picture of a budgie in a top hat on my wall :3 Ohai there, Mr Budgie. He's classy. I'd name him Edward, but the twi-hards would relate it to that wannaba biatch Cullen.  YOU WISH YOU WERE AS PALE AS ME, HO! /clears throat/ I maintain my dignity.

Bomdiggitydooooo!

My eye is itchy. Not in the my eye is itchy way. Not that that makes any sense. But I like my eyes! *_* As do I? Especially when they're shooting daggers? Yes, like that? *fans self* Must. Restrain.

Cool, sweet! Mm. I do like Filipino toothpaste. Yepyep.

I'd just like to announce, for all of you that don't know, [MissInvisible] and I are celebrating our one year wedding anniversary on September 16th. I'm telling you all this in advance, because we are anticipating amazing presents from you all. No, that was not a question. You will get us all good gifts, even if [Gojo] and [ClearlyUnfocused] have been married for... lifetimes longer. You see that, [TentuoTuo], I'm going to get to 1 year with my lovely wife. Our marriage was too plagued by communism, death, and lack of knowledge regarding when we were and weren't actually married. /pokes tongue/ I kid, I kid. You were a good... wife. ;P

I have some song some strings students played in music today stuck in my head. Damn their virtuosity.

"That's the difference between [my sister] and I. She fails at Naplan, I fail at life." Quote of the day. Arpeggijo? ArpeggiO? O Arpeggio? Music tour? <3 That one night on band camp.

So, IBS! :D There are four types, right? ...and of course, stuffed toy boobs.

I shoooould be working on something. Or, you know, not. Mwahahaha. I'M GOING TO EAT YOUR SOUL! Oh no, my status as a demon has been revealed. Runnnnnnnn!

I'm a full-fledged demon? EAT THAT, INUYASHA! >:D Ooh, InuYasha. Now that all my "oh-so-amazing" quality episodes of InuYasha:The Final Act have finished downloading, I should watch them. I did vow that I would watch InuYasha first, but I still have over 80 episodes left (I've watched 75/160 something. Yeah, bros) and I am impatient. I really wish the had a dub though, because, Richard Cox FTW! That is his name, right?

Because everything's prettier with pictures. InuYasha and Kagome chillin' in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. The shippers wish. It only takes them close to 200 episodes to kiss (excluding the [second?] movie), even though you can see that they're going to be a thing from, you know, the first episode.

It is a prettyful picture :) Gotta love InuYasha's ears. "Oh wow, like, dog ears. I think I wanna... Touch em!" Yes Kagome, whenever I see a presumably dead male half-demon, pinned to a tree by a magical arrow, after I've been sent back in time, because I fell into a magical well, the first thing I think about is grabbin' me some ears.

So, I wanna haz watch that show now, so I shall. Farewell, blog readers! May your days be merry and bright, and may all your Christmases be white. ACKNOWLEDGED.
